New Windsor, NY -- (8/22/18) Orange County Sheriff Carl DuBois today endorsed Colin Schmitt (R,C,I,Ref) for the 99th NYS Assembly District.
Sheriff Carl DuBois stated, “I have worked with Colin over the past few years on issues of mutual concern, and have seen first hand his ability to produce positive results for Orange County residents. He has experience in government, a record of success, and fresh ideas that we desperately need in Albany. Colin has a deep sense of community, and understands that law enforcement and first responders are an important component in our residents’ safety. No one is better equipped and more proven than Colin Schmitt.”

Colin Schmitt is committed to public service. Colin is a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and chief-of-staff for New Windsor’s town government. Previously, Colin served as Director of Operations for the NYS Senate Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs. Colin and his fiancée, Nikki, live in the Town of New Windsor.
